Fury

David Ayer's 2014 film follows an American tank crew advancing through Germany in 1945. A young soldier who has never fought joins them. The film does not build the war as heroism. The narrative shows the hardness inside the crew and their encounters with civilians directly; what the young soldier learns is how mercy is lost. Brad Pitt and Logan Lerman lead.
