Golden Swallow

Golden Swallow is a swordswoman who has put the life behind her. A killer is loose, and beside every body he leaves the golden swallow that is her mark. She goes back out on the road to clear her own name. The man she is looking for is Silver Roc: someone she knew as a child, in love with her, and fighting like a man who wants to be cut down. There is also Golden Whip, calm and loyal. The three of them move together for a while until the two men's pride ends it and it comes to a duel to the death. Chang Cheh directs; the film is a sequel to King Hu's Come Drink with Me from 1966, with Cheng Pei-pei back in the same part. Chang Cheh shifts the weight onto Silver Roc, played by Jimmy Wang Yu. The fights are staged by Liu Chia-liang.
