Good Morning, Boys!

Dr Benjamin Twist is a schoolmaster. He sets off on a trip with his pupils. The place they go is Paris. The trip looks ordinary at first. But there is a theft of paintings going on in the city. Twist and his pupils land in the middle of it. Their paths cross with the thieves. The schoolmaster tries to sort things out. But his own incompetence tangles them further. The account is built on that muddle. The film runs comedy and crime together, with the school trip as its frame. Will Hay plays Twist. Martita Hunt also appears, with Charles Hawtrey and Lilli Palmer, in Marcel Varnel’s British film of 1937.
