Handle with Care

Kjetil works on an offshore platform. When his wife dies the household is left to him. With him is a boy of six. The child is called Daniel. Daniel had been adopted. Kjetil does not know his background. A distance stands between father and son. That distance weighs on both of them. Kjetil then makes a decision. He will take the boy to the country he came from. The country is Colombia. There he will look for the boy’s birth mother. The journey brings the two of them closer. But the answer they are after is not easily found. Kristoffer Joner and Marlon Moreno take the leads, with Patricia Castañeda also in the cast, in Arild Andresen’s Colombian and Norwegian coproduction of 2017.
