Hasse & Tage - En kärlekshistoria

Hasse and Tage were closest friends for more than thirty years. Together they made films, wrote revues, songs and books. What they made left its mark on a whole country. They were remembered as the glue that held people’s homes together. As a comic duo they got right wingers and anarchists laughing at the same time. Tage died before his time. His children lost a father and Hasse lost a father figure. Sweden lost a father of the country. Palme died a few months after Tage. The Swedish social order that everyone had thought solid began to crack in those days. The documentary sets those two losses side by side. The Alfredson and Danielsson families opened their archives for the first time. Their stories, photographs and sound material went into the film. Hans Alfredson and Tage Danielsson appear in the hundred and nine minute documentary, a Swedish production Jane Magnusson finished in 2019.
