Marcus H. Rosenmüller's comedy opens in 1952 with four Bavarian bobsledders preparing for the Winter Olympics in Oslo. The veteran of the team means to settle a rivalry of many years at the Games themselves, and every encounter with his old adversary turns into a reckoning. While the two men are permanently at each other, the women around them try to calm things down. The big showdown in Oslo does not take place only on the track. Rosenmüller's humour is regional: provincial pride, stubbornness, and a display of masculinity conducted under the cover of sport. The period reconstruction is not taken seriously, since what the film wants is to make fun of nostalgia itself. Sebastian Bezzel and Simon Schwarz are in the cast.
