What Hollywood Dreams & Nightmares: The Robert Englund Story Is About
The documentary is about the life of Robert Englund. Englund is an American actor. He was trained in the theatre. The account starts when he was twelve. At that age he had settled on what he wanted. He worked on the stage after that. Then he moved into films. For years he worked in low budget pictures. Then one part changed everything. He played Freddy Krueger. The film opens with the story of his first session in that makeup. It does not stay on that role alone, since it looks at six decades of work, built around a long interview with him.
