What Home Care Is About
Vlasta is a nurse who visits homes in the Czech wine country; she looks after her own particular patients and lives for her husband Lada and her daughter. One day things change and, for the first time in her life, she sees that she may need some care herself. In a position she is not used to, she has to be the one asking. The film tells the illness without weighing it down, with humour and in a calm register, and it shows the search for alternative treatment without passing judgement.
