The neurobiologist Pietro Zinni and his academic friends made drugs in the first film after failing to find university work. This time the police find them and make an offer: work undercover to stop a new smart drug spreading fast. The team reassembles and the job takes them out of Italy. Sydney Sibilia directed. Edoardo Leo stars. It is the second film of a trilogy. How it was made is as notable as the film. The second and third parts were shot back to back over almost twenty weeks in various parts of the world, and the third, Ad Honorem, opened in the autumn of the same year. Audiences watching the second one already had the third in the can. It opened on 500 screens in Italy on 2 February 2017. The series began with the 2014 first film about a gang of doctorate-holding researchers who cannot find work. Sibilia made it at thirty-five and the joke about academic unemployment landed in Italy. Who it is for: viewers who like fast Italian crime comedy and have seen the first film. Who it is not for: anyone who has not. The film introduces nobody and picks up from where the first one ended.
