In the French Style

Christina James is a young American. She has come from Chicago to Paris to study painting. In the city she enrols at an art school. Things do not go the way she planned. Paris pulls her into another kind of life. First she has an affair with a young man. Then she takes up with a photographer. After that she meets a journalist. He drinks heavily and never stays in one place. This time Christina becomes genuinely attached. All of the affairs end badly. The painting, meanwhile, falls further behind. Then her wealthy father arrives in Paris. He wants to take his daughter back to America. Christina has to decide between staying and going home. Jean Seberg and Stanley Baker appear in the hundred and five minute film, a French and American co-production Robert Parrish finished in 1963.
