Inch'Allah

Chloé is a Canadian doctor. She works at a maternity clinic in Ramallah and goes home to Jerusalem in the evenings, crossing the wall every day. At the clinic she is close to Rand, who is pregnant; at home to Ava, who lives in her building, serves in the Israeli army and is posted to a checkpoint. Chloé believes she can be a bridge between the two sides. As time passes it becomes clear that both women have their own lives and she has no place in either. In the end she tries to choose a side, and nobody understands what she chooses. Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette directs the Canadian film; a hundred and one minutes, with Evelyne Brochu as Chloé, Sabrina Ouazani as Rand and Sivan Levy as Ava. The director had worked in the region for a long time before making it.
