Jeeva

Jeeva lost his mother young and cricket is his whole world; Sachin Tendulkar is his idol and he wants to play for the national side one day. For a boy from the lower middle class the road never runs straight. He is trying to keep a relationship going with the girl he loves while running into the favours and bargains that decide team selection. That is where the film really sits: in the distance between the talent on the field and the decision made at the selection table. The account opens with Jeeva sitting on a bench telling his own story, and works backwards from there. Vishnu Vishal and Sri Divya appear in Suseenthiran’s hundred and twenty eight minute Tamil film, completed in 2014.
