Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu

There is a kabaddi team in the village of Kanakkanpatti. Seven young men play in it. All of them have been friends since childhood. Their captain Marimuthu herds goats. The team has never won a match. Because of it they are laughed at in the village. Their families are against the whole thing. To their minds it is not real work. Then a coach comes into it. The man takes the team seriously. The training falls into order. The aim is to win the local tournament. The account runs as sport and drama. Daily life in the village is part of the film as well. Vishnu Vishal and Kishore take the leads, with Soori and Appukutty also in the cast, in Suseenthiran’s Indian film of 2009.
