A director and writer is murdered. The case draws a great deal of attention. The investigation is led by an officer called Achuthankutty. He is a calm and patient investigator. The dead man had a crowded circle. Many relationships and reckonings are left behind. Among the suspects three women stand out. Each of them has a story to tell. Each of them is holding something back. Achuthankutty compares their statements one by one. The story moves between those accounts. The film is counted among the well known thrillers of Malayalam cinema. It is adapted from a radio play. Mammootty and Mohanlal appear in the hundred and thirty minute film, an Indian production P. Padmarajan finished in 1986.
