Deshadanakkili Karayarilla

Sally and Nimmi are at the same school. The two of them are very close. They are punished at school. The reason is that they skipped class to see a film. Then a school trip is arranged. The two plan to run away during it. The plan works and they set off. On the road a man helps them. He was no part of the plan. Nimmi becomes attached to him. That opens a distance between the two girls. What Sally feels comes to the surface. The film does not say it outright. It keeps the telling implicit. Even so it counts among the first Malayalam films to touch the subject. Karthika, Shari, Mohanlal and Urvashi appear in the hundred and thirty seven minute film, an Indian production P. Padmarajan finished in 1986.
