Led Zeppelin: Celebration Day

Dick Carruthers's 2012 concert film records the single show Led Zeppelin played at the O2 Arena in London on 10 December 2007. The concert was held in memory of Ahmet Ertegun, the record company founder who signed them, and millions applied for tickets. The founding members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones were on stage, with Jason Bonham, son of the late John Bonham, on drums. The film gives the concert from beginning to end with no documentary sections; the camera stays on the playing and the crowd remains in the background. The set is drawn from the band's known material and the playing is unexpectedly tight for a group reuniting after twenty-seven years. The recording keeps the noise of the crowd.
