What M Is About
Lila and Mo meet at a bus stop. Lila has a severe stammer and would rather write things down than say them; Mo talks without stopping, cooks, and makes his money from illegal street racing. They fall for each other, and Mo is carrying something he has told nobody about. It is Sara Forestier's first film as writer and director, and she plays Lila herself, a fact the record does not mention anywhere. Jean-Pierre Léaud is also in the cast. It premiered at Venice in 2017.
