What Mafia Inc. Is About

The Gamaches have been tailors in Montreal for generations, and their clients have always been the same family: the Paternòs. Young Vincent Gamache is not content with the cutting table and wants a place inside the organisation. To impress the boss, Frank Paternò, he sets up a large job on his own and is promoted for it, and when what he did during that job comes out, his own family and the Paternòs both turn on him. Podz sets this in nineties Montreal, adapted from the book André Cédilot and André Noël wrote about the Rizzuto family. The families here are invented; the history behind them is Canada's best-known crime organisation. Sergio Castellitto and Marc-André Grondin star.
