What Monty Python Live (Mostly) Is About
The Monty Python team performed a run of shows in London in 2014, and this film is the recording of the last night. On stage there are the old sketches, the songs and the dance numbers, with Graham Chapman, who died in 1989, cut in from archive footage. Do not expect new material; this is a selection. Its value is not in what is performed but in the occasion: five men in their seventies on the same stage for the last time. With Terry Jones's death in 2020 it really was the last. Not an entry point for anyone new to them.
