Everything About Mustafa

Mustafa's life looks flawless from outside: a good job, an orderly house, a wife and a child. When his wife dies in a car crash, that order collapses. There was another man in the car; Fikret, a taxi driver, is taken to hospital badly injured. To find out what his wife's relationship with this man was, Mustafa abducts Fikret and takes him out of the city. As the questioning goes on, what he learns stops being about his wife and starts being about his own past. Çağan Irmak directs, with Fikret Kuşkan as Mustafa and Nejat İşler as Fikret. The tension comes out of two men talking in a closed room. Irmak would later be associated mostly with melodrama; here he builds the whole thing out of hardness.
