What Whisper If I Forget Is About
A singer who was famous decades ago comes back to her old house as Alzheimer's closes in. What she remembers takes the film back to a small conservative town: the shy older sister who worked at the clinic and kept a notebook of poems, and the reckless younger one who could think about nothing except singing. The day the district governor's son arrives, both their lives change. Çağan Irmak ties the story of a career to an unfinished argument between two sisters, with the elder one holding the younger responsible for how her own life turned out. Hümeyra, Işıl Yücesoy, Farah Zeynep Abdullah, Mehmet Günsür and Kerem Bürsin play across the two timelines.
