Are We Ok?

Temmuz is a sculptor in Istanbul, gay, and blocked. His boyfriend leaves him by email, and he keeps himself going illustrating children's books. For a while now he has been seeing the same face in his dreams. Then he sees that face for real in the street: İhsan, born without arms or legs, living in his mother's care. The two of them meet. But what İhsan wants from Temmuz is not friendship: he asks him to help end his life. Çağan Irmak directs, with Deniz Celiloğlu as Temmuz, Aras Bulut İynemli as İhsan and Sumru Yavrucuk as the mother. The film is about two people holding on to each other, and it does not hand over an easy answer.
