What Ordinary Is About
Iravi is the conductor on a bus that runs between a city and a hill town. He knows the lives at both ends of the road, the passengers' troubles and the village's daily business, and the more he involves himself the more his own life changes. Sugeeth's 2012 Malayalam film sets the ordinary world of the state buses somewhere between comedy and drama, then turns on an accident nobody sees coming. Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon are at the centre. The mountain roads of Kerala are not scenery here so much as another character on the route.
