Ozzy: No Escape from Now

Tania Alexander's documentary follows the last six years of Ozzy Osbourne's life. A fall in 2019 stopped his stage career and forced the cancellation of his farewell tour; the surgeries that followed, chronic pain and a Parkinson's diagnosis kept him at home for years. The film tells that stretch through time spent between a recording studio, the house and physiotherapy, with Osbourne asking openly whether he will ever perform again. Sharon, Kelly, Jack and Aimee Osbourne speak. His surprise appearance at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and his final concert in Birmingham on 5 July 2025 are both in the film. It was not designed to be released posthumously; Osbourne died on 22 July 2025, and the documentary became the record of his final years. It went out on Paramount Plus in October 2025. Who it's for: listeners of Black Sabbath and Osbourne, and anyone who likes music documentary. Who it's not for: viewers who would rather not look closely at illness and physical decline.
