What Parks Is About

Jun is a university student. One day she meets Haru, who is still at high school. Haru is looking for someone. The person she is looking for is Sachiko. Sachiko was the girlfriend of Haru’s late father. While searching, the two of them come across Tokio. Tokio is Sachiko’s grandson. From him they learn that Sachiko has died too. Among the things Sachiko left behind is a reel of tape. There is a love song on it. The recording is damaged and the song breaks off in the middle. The three of them set about rebuilding the missing part. That effort binds them together. The film was made for the hundredth anniversary of Inokashira Park in Tokyo. Ai Hashimoto and Mei Nagano appear in the hundred and eighteen minute film, a Japanese production Natsuki Seta finished in 2017.
