Parole Girl

A woman has been convicted of fraud. There is a man who put her inside. She serves her sentence. Then she comes out on parole. As soon as she is out she finds him. What she wants is to settle the account. The story is built on that plan for revenge. The man is connected with a department store. The prison and the store are the film’s two main settings. As the plan goes on, other things come into it. Blackmail and jealousy enter as well. The film is short and moves fast. It belongs to the years before the code tightened. Mae Clarke, Ralph Bellamy, Marie Prevost and Hale Hamilton appear in the sixty seven minute film, an American production Edward F. Cline finished in 1933.
