What The Rag Man Is About
Tim Kelly is an orphan. The orphanage he lives in burns down. Everyone assumes he died in the fire. That is why he can live without anyone coming after him. He roams the streets of New York. One day he meets Max Ginsberg. Max is an old junk dealer. Rheumatism makes it hard for him to move. He is a Jewish man who makes his living collecting junk in the street. The two of them decide to go into business together. The partnership serves them both. A strong friendship grows out of it. The story is built as a rise out of poverty. Jackie Coogan and Max Davidson appear in the sixty eight minute silent film, an American production Edward F. Cline finished in 1925.
