Pick It Up!: Ska in the '90s

The documentary takes up ska music. The account centres on the nineties. In those years ska spread across America. Bands got onto the radio and into the charts. The shows grew crowded. Then the interest fell away quickly. The music went back underground. The documentary tells of that rise and that fall. Those speaking come from the bands of the period. Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake are among them. The Specials and No Doubt are mentioned too. Sublime and Goldfinger come up in the film as well. The documentary was made independently. Tim Armstrong and Aaron Barrett appear in the hundred minute documentary, with Travis Barker also taking part, an American production Taylor Morden finished in 2019.
