Tomasz Sekielski’s documentary is built around two brothers who were sexually abused by the same priest. It is less concerned with cataloguing crimes than with how they were kept quiet: a priest moved from parish to parish for a quarter of a century, and a hierarchy that knew and moved him anyway. Made as a follow-up to the 2019 film that shook Poland, it was released straight to YouTube in May 2020, financed entirely by viewer donations. Afterwards the bishop of Kalisz, Edward Janiak, had his resignation accepted and was placed under Vatican restrictions.
