Achutha Menon, in his late sixties, comes to the city after a heart attack to live with his daughter-in-law and granddaughter. One day he meets Grace, the wife he divorced years before, in the lift and collapses on the spot; she lives in the same building with her husband Mathews and her daughter. Grace has him taken to hospital and covers the cost of his treatment, and three people in the same building become bound to one another. Mathews, who is confined to bed, has to decide how he will look at that bond. Blessy’s hundred and thirty nine minute Malayalam film tells of love not in youth but in old age, and among three people at that. Anupam Kher plays Menon, Jaya Prada plays Grace and Mohanlal plays Mathews; it was completed in 2011.
