What ReLIFE Is About
Arata Kaizaki is twenty seven, unemployed and stuck, when he is offered something strange: take a pill, become seventeen again, and spend a year back in high school trying his life once more. Ryo Yoake is the observer running the experiment. In class Arata meets Chizuru Hishiro, who cannot talk to anyone and badly wants to. The science fiction premise quietly steps aside after a while and the film gets on with looking at exactly where adulthood went wrong. Adapted from Yayoiso's manga, with an ending written specifically for it.
