What Sabaya Is About
The documentary takes place in the Al-Hol camp in Syria. Held in that camp are Yazidi women and girls who were abducted and enslaved by ISIS. Mahmud and Ziyad are part of a small group trying to get them out. What they have amounts to a car, a phone and a gun. Every time they go in and out they put their own lives at risk. The women who are brought out are taken to the Yazidi Home Center. There Siham and Zahra look after them. Some of those who survive later choose to take part in the searching themselves.
