What Shithouse Is About
Alex, a college freshman fifteen hundred miles from home, is lonely and has shut himself off while everyone around him appears to have figured this out already. One night he decides to go to the campus’s notorious party house and meets Maggie there. Walking and talking through the night they build an unexpected closeness, and by morning it turns out they understood it differently. Cooper Raiff wrote it, directed it and plays Alex himself. It handles homesickness and the falseness of a first year plainly, almost shyly.
