The summer of 1978. Kurita, a high school student, shoots a spaceship scene on an eight millimetre camera together with his friend Ozawa; what pushes them to it is the science fiction they have seen that year. While the class is arguing over what to do for the school festival, Kurita’s suggestion of making a science fiction film wins. Sasaki, a classmate keen on cinema, joins the work, and the four of them persuade Yamashita, the prettiest girl in the class, to take the lead. Over the summer holiday they shoot their own film, in which an alien ship comes to Earth and turns time backwards. Yu Uemura appears in Kazuya Konaka’s hundred and twelve minute Japanese film, completed in 2023.
