Solo Mio

A man goes to Rome for a wedding, the wedding falls apart, and he is left holding a honeymoon nobody wants. That is where the film starts: a stranded groom pushed into living out that honeymoon alone by a determined local woman and a few meddling travellers he keeps running into. Kevin James leads, with Nicole Grimaudo, Alyson Hannigan, Jonathan Roumie and Kim Coates around him, and Andrea Bocelli appearing on his own terms. The most interesting thing behind it is that it is a family business: all eight Kinnane brothers worked on the film, two directing, two writing the screenplay with Kevin James, another cutting it. It premiered on 20 January 2026 and reached audiences on 6 February 2026. The flaw is obedience to the formula. Italy functions as scenery, the change of heart arrives exactly when you expect it, and the comedy never risks anything. Who it is for: viewers who want a light romantic comedy and Italian scenery. Who it is not for: anyone looking for sharp humour.
