What Son of the Bride Is About
A divorced man who has taken over his father's restaurant and never puts the phone down has a heart attack, and is forced to look at his life for the first time. Meanwhile his father wants to marry his mother, who has Alzheimer's, in a church, because they could not marry forty years ago. Juan Jose Campanella ties the two together and asks the same question in both: when does a promise finally get paid? Ricardo Darin begins as an irritating man and slowly wins the audience over.
