What Stone Years Is About
The film is based on a true story. Babis and Eleni are a young couple trying to love each other and to stay standing through the years that begin after the Greek Civil War and run to the end of the dictatorship in 1974. The road between them goes from one prison to another and from one exile to another, and the times they are together are always short. The account keeps the political events in the background and puts forward how two people carried those years. Themis Bazaka and Dimitris Katalifos appear in Pantelis Voulgaris’s hundred and thirty seven minute Greek film, completed in 1985.
