Success at Any Price

A young man wants to rise in business. Nothing counts as an obstacle to him. He pushes aside whatever stands in his way. He forgets friendships and what he owes. He climbs the steps quickly. In a short time he is where he wanted to be. Money, a title and a circle are all his. But the order he has built rests on one thing. When the market crashes everything falls apart at the same speed. He loses what he has in a night. Then he tries to take his own life. The film shows that without going into detail. The story questions the ambition of America in the thirties.
