A family in the north of France is in debt. Both of the Klurs worked at the same factory; it closed and production moved to Poland. They were dismissed and the house is to be sold. The company the factory belonged to is a large luxury goods group whose owner is among the richest men in France. A journalist goes to the family. They make a plan: they will reach the group and get into the shareholders' meeting by buying shares. Then they write a letter and make sure the company hears about it. François Ruffin directs and appears in the film. The documentary dates from 2016. Ruffin was working as a journalist and this is his first film as a director; he went into politics in later years. The method is hidden filming and direct intervention; the crew does not record events, it creates them. The result it produces is concrete; the company meets the family and an agreement is made. The register is comedy; the documentary deliberately carries a serious subject through a ridiculous plan. The film found an unexpected audience in France and was spoken of alongside the social movements of the time. It won the César for best documentary in France.
