What The Colors Within Is About

Totsuko sees the people around her as colours, and the one she sees in her classmate Kimi is the one she cannot stop looking at. Following her to a second hand bookshop, she lets it be assumed that she plays piano, and finds herself inside a band being assembled on the spot, with Kimi on guitar and a quiet boy named Rui on theremin. What the three of them build turns into shelter from whatever each of them is avoiding at home. Naoko Yamada directed it at Science Saru, set in a mission school in Nagasaki, with music by Kensuke Ushio.
