The Cursed Official

A state official lives on the bribes he takes. The arrangement has become ordinary to him. One day he wrongs an old woman. She puts a curse on him. The curse takes. From then on dirty money burns in his hands. He cannot accept a bribe or hold on to cash. And the largest deal of his life falls in exactly those days. He has twenty four hours. In that time he has to get free of the curse. If he does not he will pay heavily. He looks for a way out everywhere. The story is put together as a comedy. The system of bribery gets its criticism through that. Maksim Lagashkin and Elizaveta Arzamasova appear in the eighty two minute film, a Russian production Sarik Andreasyan finished in 2021.
