The film sets side by side several separate stories about Russians who have settled in America for good. A man visiting his daughter is shaken to find that his grandson speaks Russian but does not know things every child in Russia knows. Another sets out to arrange a marriage of convenience to get citizenship, and it turns out far more complicated than he hoped. A woman who has lived there for years has worked out the local rules but can never make peace with the food. The film is a comedy built on the idea that changing where you live does not change who you are. Dmitriy Nagiev and Yuriy Stoyanov appear in Sarik Andreasyan’s hundred minute Russian film, completed in 2020.
