Chris and RJ are two men who fell in love years ago while serving as missionaries. They are trying to make the relationship work now, but neither their families nor the faith they grew up in makes that easy. They decide to close off the past, and that decision sends them on a search that will take them as far as the leadership of the church. Jon García's film is the last part of a trilogy about the same two characters. Nick Ferrucci and Benjamin Farmer carry on in the lead roles. The telling does not condemn the church as a whole; it shows the difference between the one who keeps his faith and the one who leaves it, and the different reactions inside a family. The budget is small, the acting plain, and the subject is spoken about openly.
