A working girl wins a sweepstakes of five thousand dollars. With the money she steps into an entirely different life in New York. She takes a room at a luxury hotel and meets a bellboy there. But the bellboy is not who he appears to be. His identity is the knot the account is tied around. Something starts between the two of them. Along the way the doors money opens, and the ones it closes, become visible. The film handles a difference of class in the shape of comedy. Benita Hume and Alan Mowbray are also in the cast.
