Savu and Panait are lorry drivers. They work for an assembly company. This time they are to move a large machine. The road runs over the mountains. The destination is a mining district. On the way they meet a young woman. The woman is called Maria. She is going to the same place. Her fiancé works there. But her money and her papers have been stolen. The drivers take her along. The journey passes inside the cab. The three of them begin to know one another. Then both men fall for her. A tension grows up between them. Mircea Albulescu and Tora Vasilescu take the leads in Mircea Daneliuc’s Romanian film of 1975.
