A working class student who has quit her university dance crew finds her own street dance style in tai chi. Breath, balance and slowness meeting the speed of hip hop produce something nobody expected. Adam Wong's 2013 Hong Kong film uses the familiar shapes of the genre well: the competition, the injury, the feuding inside the crew. Cherry Ngan leads, and the dance sequences carry all of the film's energy. Class is not decoration here but the direct explanation of why she could not find a place in that crew.
