The Woman in Blue

Pierre is a man who works in music. One day he sees a woman in the street. She is dressed in blue. The sight lasts a moment and she is gone. After that instant Pierre can think of nothing else. He does not know who she is or what she is called. He decides to find her all the same. He starts walking the streets of Paris. He searches for her without knowing where to look. The city is large and he has nothing to go on. After a while he calls on an old friend. He asks him to help with the search. The search turns into the whole of his day. What began as a glance becomes a pursuit. Michel Piccoli and Lea Massari appear in the ninety five minute film, a French and Italian co-production Michel Deville finished in 1973.
