Time

A hit man once known for his quick blade is now retired. He cannot make a living from his old trade, and nobody asks anything of him. Then he is called on again and goes into a strange line of work with his chauffeur. What they do is carry out the wish of old people who want to die. The crew give themselves the name of the Elderly’s Angel. Then a young woman, left by her parents and by the man she loved, comes to them. That request changes the way the crew go about their work. The film takes its subject in dark comedy and looks at the loneliness of old age. Patrick Tse Yin and Petrina Fung Bo-Bo take the leads, with Lam Suet also in the cast, in Ricky Ko’s Hong Kong film of 2021.
