What Tokyo Fist Is About

Tsuda, an office worker, runs into a childhood friend, Kojima, on the subway; Kojima is now a boxer. Once Kojima starts coming round, Tsuda suspects something between him and his fiancée Hizuru, and joins a gym so he can hit back. But the film goes somewhere other than a fight between two men: Hizuru pierces, marks and hardens her own body past both of them. Tsukamoto plays the lead and cast his own brother as Kojima. Violence and self-harm throughout, very graphic.
