Walking the Camino: Six Ways to Santiago

The documentary follows a pilgrim road in Spain. The road is called the Camino de Santiago. It runs the length of northern Spain. Its distance comes to some eight hundred kilometres. The walk ends at Santiago de Compostela. The film follows six people from the moment they set out. The six do not know one another. Where they come from and how old they are differ widely. They carry a backpack and a pair of boots. Some walk for faith and some for another reason. The longer the road runs, the more each reason shifts. The road is long enough that the body is tested too. The walkers fall in with each other along the way. The eighty four minute documentary was directed by Lydia B. Smith. It is an American production finished in 2013.
